Connor has been enjoying his new slip and slide. The hot weather has been perfect for enjoying it. Kale on the other hand just likes to sit beside me on the chair and cheer his brother on.
Saturday the hay was sopping wet still so Tom and Ruth came into the Carstairs parade with us. The boys loved it. By the end Connor was waving with both hands and saying hi to every float.
The fire trucks bring up the rear and Connor starts jumping and waving at them. The one driver through a huge handful of candy to him. While he was picking it up the driver soaked him with a water gun. I instantly held my breath expecting a break down. Instead he turns around with the biggest smile on his face and starts to laugh his head off. A perfect way to end the parade.
