Tim and I were able to get away the last 4 days. I took him down to my family vacation spot in Whitefish Montana. I know it was a touristy thing to do but we wanted a picture. Tim is in front of the front wheel of the largest truck in the world located in Sparwood BC.

This is a coffee/bakery shop we stopped at. The farmers in us thought it was a neat way to enter a bakery. We had a great time in Whitefish and Kalispell - spent a little too much money on good deals but we had a great time.

We stopped at hungry horse dam on Monday. I was relieved when we finally got there cuz we had to drive up the usual mountain road that drops off 500 ft. Sunday morning we woke up to about 6 inches of snow and then Monday morning the rain started and the snow was gone - except on this road. They hadn`t plowed the snow off yet so add the rain and you get a sheet of ice. Luckily we had the truck with 4X4. Unfortunately we weren`t in the tourist season so we weren`t able to get a tour, but it was still neat to see.
When we got home last night our boiler had shut off and it was only 6 degrees in the house. Tim got to the problem right away but it took forever to get the house warm. Unfortunately my fish froze to death. We both sat in front of the wood stove reading books all night to warm up. We even went to bed with extra blankets and long johns! This morning it was good to go.
