-darn cows when he can't get something to work
-this is my favorite....... naming every book on the shelf and bringing them to me to read.
-tastes like chocolate milk when he took his first taste of chocolate ice cream last week.
-tonight after supper he says "please play playdough mom?" He is starting to use please properly without prompting.
But....he still frustrates me in the eating department. I think I've mentioned it previously how we've started just giving him what we eat and if he doesn't eat it than he doesn't get any food. I guess we've made some progress cuz he has started putting things in his mouth and playing with his food more. But he generally doesn't try anything. Yesterday he was playing in Sadie's pen and her dog house is falling apart so he decides to put a piece of it in his mouth. Later we were in the shop and there was a roll of duck tape sitting on the floor and he puts that in his mouth. Yuk. Why will he put those things in his mouth but not food?
This afternoon while Kale was napping we had popcorn out on deck cuz the cows were walking by. Connor loves watching them go by. They will often go by in the morning and then again in the afternoon. Here are a few of the pictures to show how much fun he had. Sadie was right there eating anything that fell to the floor.

love it Karen! I sympathize with you whole heartedly over your food struggles with Connor. Levi is the same. He will eat any kind of 'snack' or 'treat' and of course cereal, but eating at meal times is such a battle. Your approach is a good one though :) Good luck!
