He's Normal
Well this past Monday we had Connor's doctor appointment in Red Deer. The doctor started asking various questions and then paused, looked at Tim, then at me, then at Connor playing on the floor and said it is just genetics. Which we figured but it is nice to hear it from a doctor. He did order blood tests, due to my families diabetes history and a urine analysis. Do you know how hard it is to get a urine sample delivered to the lab within 2 hours of collection? Yesterday the doctor himself called to let us know everything was normal but his iron was low. The normal range is between 50 - 150. Connor is at 10. This doesn't surprise me cuz it is really hard to get him to eat meat. Anyhow we have to give him 1 mL 3 times a day of iron drops. But the catch is that Connor can't have it with cereal or milk. This is going to be challenging as I am still nursing 3 times a day and the stuff tastes terrible. The doctor said we should notice an increase in appetite in about a week.
