Backyard Church

Tim was supposed to be helping out with an outdoor church service in Carstairs today but it was cancelled due to weather.  So we decided to hold church in our backyard.  I'm a bit greedy when it comes to our one day off in the week.  So I figured by having church in the back yard we could spend the most uninterrupted time together as a family.
 Waiting for church to start...
 Greeting one another.....
 Worship time......
 Sermon time....
The sermon was on the lost sheep.  Above is the "herd" of sheep but one is missing so the hunt begins.....
They eventually found it and carefully carried it back to the rest of the sheep.
Our sheep craft finished church off.  Connor looked at me afterwards and said..  "That was AWESOME".  After church the boys jumped on the trampoline with water while Tim and I took some time to do a devotion together.
We followed church with a weiner roast that was rained out.  But it was a fun morning.

This is the storm that came and rained/hailed us out.

What a great idea! No wonder the boys loved it!
