Happy 5th Birthday Kale

Our little man turned 5 today.  How can it be?  He is the mischievous monkey of the family.  Although he can be quiet goofy he his one of the sweetest kids around.  He is passionate about the things he loves and could really care less about the things he doesn't like.  He is a wonderful brother. I love you with all my heart Kale.
He loves the quilt we made him.  His favorite blocks of course are the 2 with cows on them.
Lexi couldn't wait to get on the quilt with him.
The poor guy had pink eye all week and still has sore eyes today when I took the picture.
No surprise that he wanted a cow birthday cake!!

Having his cousins his aunts and uncles and Mr. Marco for cake made his day perfect.

cows and farming is his number 1 passion.  He is learning well from his daddy on the right way to farm.  He has to be with his dad every step of anything to with cattle.  These days when he comes home from morning chores he goes right to his room and sets his farm up in his room with precise order and could play for hours.

 Such a handsome guy!!!
Always like the idea of an adventure, but when we get there he wants to go home.  He is our home boy.
Kale and Connor are truly best buds and I am so thankful for their relationship.  Not to say that they don't fight and squabble - they do.  But they are quick to mend any difference.  He is great with Lexi.  He'll even stop playing farm to have a tea party with her!!
Doesn't that smile just melt your heart.  He is quick to give a hug or a kiss.  His "have a good day mom" gets me every time.
Hockey has become his second passion.  He is a very talented skater and I love watching him progress through the year.  If you can't find him in his room playing farm than you can find him downstairs playing hockey with his brother.  Night hockey games in the basement are epic.  It really is the highlight of the boys day!

Happy Birthday Kale (scooter).  We love you.
