Family Life

The last few weeks have been busy wrapping up our winter activities. We have been at the arena about 4 times a week with hockey and skating carnival prep.  But we do sneak in fun at home, whether it be playing outside, helping on the farm, going to the science center, visiting grandparents, making cookies or
doing science experiments.  The boys loved watching how mixing colors made new colors and how different liquids have different densities.
Connor decided he was going to brush Lexi's teeth one night.
One day we walked up to the farm.  Connor says to me "look mom, I can do Dad step" and he continued to take the biggest step his legs could do.  So when we got to the farm he had to show Tim.  They lined up at the shop door and walked down the pad.  Tim doing his normal steps and Connor doing his "dad" steps.  Connor actually did it in 5 steps just like his dad.
 Lexi couldn't be left out!!
On our visit last week to my parents Lexi received her growth chart from my parents.  I am glad to have something hanging in her room that my mom made.  Yes this is Lexi standing in front of it, she gets dressed like a boy when we are playing at home!!
