4 Months Old!!

This past week Connor has been quite content to just roll onto his side and watch what is going on around him. I can't believe our little boy is already 4 months old.
Yesterday we went to our dear friends church to watch their youngest girl Kadence be dedicated. I love baby dedications, you can't help but smile from ear to ear as you watch a family dedicate their child to God.

Afterwards we headed down to Black Diamond to visit my great Aunt Mary. She hadn't seen Connor yet so we thought we would go for a visit. Mary and her brother John farm about 6 quarters of land and calve out 100+ cows. They are both in their later 80s and Uncle John has had his hip and one knee replaced within the last 2 years. Mary still lives in the homestead house and cooks on a wood stove. I have always cherished our visits here and this visit was long overdue. It was very special to see Connor with Mary. She never asked to hold Connor and I didn't want to force her to hold him. I should have gotten mom to take a picture of me holding Connor by Mary. Oh well next time. My parents were down visiting to so we got to see them again. Mom was rocking Connor in the chair and he was smiling and giggling.
This is a picture of my great grandfathers blacksmith shop.
An old shed on the homestead used to house the lawn mower.

This is the house Mary lives in now and has since she was born. We spent many hours as kids rolling down this hill.

Connor got a little sleepy after visiting!!

When we got home I wanted to get a picture of us in front of the hay. It was hard to get Connor to look at the camera when it was set on the timer. We got Sadie to sit by the camera so he would look somewhat in that direction.

In the last couple of days he has started sticking his tougne out at us if we do it to him. Here he was actually copying Sadie.
Daddy and his buddy. Since haying has started this past week Tim hasn't gotten in till 10 or later so Connor hasn't seen much of his dad. He enjoyed hanging out with dad yesterday though.
