He's got Thunder in His Footsteps and Lightning in His Fists

He is just too cute here not to share.
Lately he is into sticking his tongue out at us. He loves playing this game with Tim.

Well this morning we were woken up at 1:11 to howling wind and a spectacular lightning storm. The power went of shortly after and I said to Tim, "there goes the power". His reply was "there goes the crop". So Connor came out with us to inspect the hail damage this morning. He didn't seem too concerned. We were lucky compare to some farmers. We figure there is only 30% damage done. Some farmers north of us have windows broken, siding stripped off, and no crop at all. My garden was looking beautiful but now it looks like someone came along and chewed a bunch of it up and then spit it back out.

On our way home Connor and I visited Granny & Gramps. Today they are celebrating their 60th anniversary. Gramps is still cracking his jokes and Granny still giggles and says "hush up Mick". They are so cute and a great example to us all. As I was leaving Granny was almost in tears she was so happy that the family has all come for visits and of all God's blessings on their life together.
This is a tree that fell over in Granny & Gramps' yard. There house is about 10 ft to the left.

We woke up to several hail drifts along the house. Most of my flower pots survived as they were under the veranda.

This tree is outside our kitchen window. I loved looking at it cuz it was a picture perfect tree. But now the top has been snapped off and it isn't so pretty.
